The tarot can be used for many purposes: divination, spiritual guidance, psychological insight and esoteric magic. But here we will focus on the tarot as a vehicle for playing with and talking with the images and figures we meet when engaging with the tarot. We encounter the tarot as a place of imagination. Like entering a fairy tale world where everything is possible. Like going down the rabbit’s hole in Alice in Wonderland.
We talk about the images and how they communicate with us. Bring your favorite card (or deck) and engage in a conversation about what it means to you, and why, how you purchased it and how you use the tarot.
There will be a brief introduction to the tarot, imagination, and inner images by Kristine Gazel (author of the tarot blog Visdommens bog), then a hopefully inspirational and engaging conservation about the tarot by the participants. We will meet at the library at Virkelig and have some delicacies, coffee, and tea available.
In the spring this may be followed up by some more structured sessions/workshops about the tarot
